Supervisor calls for safety hearing on contractors after tunnel worker's death

Oakland's Shimmick construction has been hit with nearly 40 violations in the last 10 years, Now, a member of the board of supervisors is calling for a hearing to review the safety record of all city contractors after a Twin Peaks Tunnel Project worker died last week while on the job.
