Dozens of Marriott hotel workers arrested, strikers block traffic, demand higher wages

The president of Unite Here Local 2 along with dozens of union members were arrested in a mass protest of hotel workers that took to the streets of San Francisco Friday evening. 1,000 striking Marriott hotel workers demonstrated as they sat on Fourth Street in San Francisco to demand higher wages, union officials said.
