Woman blinded, disfigured in acid attack by husband remains strong spirited

Doctors, teachers and community members in the Bay Area are rallying behind Atsade Nigese of Ethiopia. She is a survivor of domestic violence. Her body was burned in an acid attack that left her blind and disfigured. Her husband is said to be the perpetrator. Now the woman has been taken in by another Ethiopian woman who lives in the Bay Area.
