40 years since 1st AIDS cases documented in the United States

It has now been 40 years since the first cases of AIDS in the United States were officially documented by researchers writing for the CDC. Now, decades later, survivors are recalling the worst days of the crisis and reminding the public that the disease is still a major threat.
