Update in San Jose officer shooting
A shootout in San Jose on Tuesday left one suspect dead and a police officer in the hospital. An update shared on Wednesday stated the officer's condition had stabilized, however, the department states the officer should not have been involved at all, as the suspect should not have been on the streets.
