Last Middle East oil shipment arrives in California
California could face a significant challenge in maintaining large oil supplies as long as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. The final oil tanker to depart the Middle East for California prior to the shutdown has arrived at the Port of Long Beach. This shipment is expected to be the last delivery from the region until the strait is officially reopened to international shipping.
