12, including family of 4, displaced in Nob Hill fire
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - 12 people, including a family of four, were displaced Tuesday afternoon when a two-alarm fire broke out and damaged two apartment buildings in San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood.
The blaze was first reported at 3:47 p.m. in the 1400 block of Taylor Street, near Pacific Avenue.
Crews arriving at the scene found heavy fire affecting two different three-story structures with a total of 20 residential units between them.
The fire was under control by 4:33 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
Fire officials said the blaze appeared to be accidental in nature, however, the official cause is under investigation.
