7 injured when SUV rear-ends Muni bus

San Francisco Municipal Railway officials said an SUV rear-ended a Muni bus in the city's Bayview neighborhood Friday morning, injuring seven people.

The first report of the collision came in at 8:58 a.m. at Bayshore Boulevard and Industrial Street, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

Fire department spokesman Jonathan Baxter said in all three people suffered moderate injuries and four suffered minor injuries. All were taken to a hospital.

Rose said four people on the bus suffered minor injuries.

The collision occurred on an inbound 24-line bus.
