Alexis Gabe memorial to be held after remains released to family

CONCORD, Calif. - A memorial service is scheduled for next Saturday in Concord for Alexis Gabe.

The 24-year-old Oakley woman disappeared in January 2022 and investigators later determined her boyfriend killed her.

Gabe's remains were found last November but were held because of the investigation into her death. Now that the family has her remains, they want to honor her in a public service.

The memorial will be Saturday, June 17, 3-8 p.m. at the Diablo Valley Funeral Home in Concord.
