Border collie puppies stolen from Pinole park

East Bay Regional Park District police  are trying to find whomever stole two border collie puppies last week.

Sometime between 8 and 11:30 a.m. on July 8, two black-and-white herding dogs were taken from their owner near Point Pinole Regional Park’s Dodson Family Marsh, police said.

The collies, who are between 5 and 8 weeks old, are working dogs already relied upon by their herder owner.
