CHP investigating apparent road rage shooting on I-580 in Richmond
RICHMOND, Calif. (KTVU) - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a possible road rage incident that turned violent on a Richmond highway.
According to CHP, just after 1 p.m. a white GMC SUV was traveling on westbound Interstate 580 near the Regatta Boulevard exit when the vehicle was struck by multiple bullets.
Authorities said the driver of the SUV was not injured.
The unknown suspect vehicle fled the scene
