Costco in Concord still closed after refrigerant leak
CONCORD, Calif. - A refrigerant leak is keeping a Costco store in Concord closed temporarily until the Contra Costa County Health Department can give it the all clear.
This comes after authorities evacuated 800 customers and 200 employees from the store last week.
Police say no injuries were reported.
A hazardous materials team was expected to assess and contain the chemical leak.
There is no word on when the store will reopen.
