big-rig crash on Interstate 80 in Vallejo shut down traffic in both directions for several hours Thursday afternoon.

VALLEJO, Calif. - A crash involving a big rig on Interstate 80 in Vallejo on Thursday brought traffic to a standstill.

The California Highway Patrol reported the collision around 3:39 p.m. and said westbound and eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed at Columbus Parkway.

Photos from the scene show front end damage to a Coors Banquet big-rig that also appears to have jumped a center divider.
