Deadly collision on Highway 4 in Contra Costa County

PITTSBURG, Calif. - A person died Wednesday morning on Highway 4 near the Pittsburg-Bay Point border, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported about 4 a.m. near Bailey Road. 

Traffic was backed up for miles.
