Former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo to be inducted to Hall of Fame

CANTON, Oh. - Former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame tonight in Canton, Ohio.

He is being recognized for his accomplishments during his 23-year ownership of the franchise. He helped lead the 49ers to five Super Bowl wins in 14 years, a record for any single owner. 

He will be presented at the ceremony by his daughter, Lisa. 

DeBartolo was inducted into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 2008 and the 49ers Hall of Fame in 2009. 

The late Ken Stabler, former Oakland Raider, will also be inducted tonight.
