'Hot Cop' appears in court on hit-and-run charges

The San Francisco Police Officer nicknamed the "Hot Cop of the Castro" was in court Tuesday morning for a pre-trial hearing.

Thirty-eight-year-old Christopher Kohrs is suspected of hitting two pedestrians last November at a crosswalk, and then leaving the car at the scene, and walking off.

The two pedestrians suffered serious, but non life threatening injuries.

Officer Kohrs has pleaded not guilty to the felony charges.

He received notoriety in 2014, when photos of him circulated across social media, and he received the nickname "Hot Cop of the Castro."
