Fremont Animal Services staff would like to reunite a lost baby goat with its mother.

A citizen located a baby goat near the intersection of Lemos Ln. and Tirso St. in the Gomes neighborhood on Thursday.

The baby goat appears to be approximately one week old and well cared for.

Animal Services believes it was only recently separated from its mother and is hoping to reunite it with its owner.

The goat is not in danger and Animal Services is not looking for a temporary/foster home.

If anyone has information that would help  reunite the baby goat with its mother, please contact the Tri-City Animal Shelter (1950 Stevenson Blvd) at 510-790-6640 or drop by during business hours Tues-Fri 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. or Sat. 11 :00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m
