Man stabbed in robbery near Children's Discovery Museum

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU & Wires) - A man was stabbed and robbed on a walking path near the Children's Discovery Museum and park on Thursday in San Jose, police said Friday.

Officers responded around 9 a.m. to a report from a man who said he had just been stabbed on the Guadalupe River Trail, according to police.

Police said officers found the man suffering from at least one stab wound and other visible injuries.

The man told police that two men had approached him and made a comment before one of the suspects stabbed him and took his property by force.

The two suspects ran away from the area before officers could arrive, and police said they remain at large.

The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.
