A 2-year-old boy with asthma who was abducted from Soledad in his father's car this morning, has been found safe.

Video from Sky Fox shows the car was found on a property in Gonzales.

Soledad police confirmed the boy is "well" but did not release further details.

An Amber Alert had been issued for Jacob Jesus Vargas, who was left in a car parked in the 100 block of Head Street around 7 a.m., Soledad police Chief Eric Sills said.

The boy's father left his son alone in the car that was warming up in their driveway, Sills said.

When the father went back outside, he couldn't find his car or son and quickly notified police, according to Sills.

At this point, additional details on this case have not been released.
