Missing Oakland toddler located following Amber Alert
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Update 1:15: The missing 3-year-old toddler out of Oakland has been located, according to Oakland Police. Dartanian Brooks and the suspect were found at the 200 block of Santa Clara Avenue in Oakland. Brooks will be taken to Children's Hospital to be checked out. More details to come.
An Amber Alert was issued for the 3-year-old boy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday after he had been missing since late Friday. He had last been seen in a blue 1999 Honda Odyssey Minivan with the license plate number 7HVD047.
Oakland Police are searching for a 3-year-old boy who has been missing since late Friday.
His mother let him go to a store with a woman and the two never returned.
The boy was last seen at a clinic on McArthur Boulevard in Oakland.
Dartanian Brooks Jr. was last seen wearing a red Angry Birds beanie and a green Ninja Turtles shirt.
Police believe the boy is with 48-year-old Tammy Martin. She is described as a 5-foot-1-inch tall Black woman with black hari and brown eyes.
Dartanian was last seen driving with Martin in a 99 Blue Honda Odyssey minivan that has a black garbage bag covering the rear window.
