Mountain View police hoping to reunite people with stolen items

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Mountain View police are hoping to get some stolen items, including a diamond ring and luggage, back to the people who lost them.
On Feb. 13, officers arrested 25-year-old Melissa Vincent of San Jose on drug charges last week. She was in the cab of a U-Haul truck at the time.
And in the back of the truck, they found several backpacks and purses that appeared to be stolen.
She also allegedly had ID information for some other people, police said.
Investigators are asking recent burglary victims to look at the photos here -- and see if they recognize anything as their own.
