Multiple vehicle accident on Hwy 24 in Oakland
OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) - As many as eight cars were involved in a crash on state Highway 24 in Oakland this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash on eastbound Highway 24 near Broadway was reported at about 4:30 p.m., CHP officials said. Only minor injuries were reported, but multiple lanes of the highway were blocked in the area.
511 Bay Area updated the situation on Twitter around 5:20 p.m. to say all lanes had reopened.
