NEW ORLEANS - A dance group from Oakland performed in the Super Bowl halftime show with Kendrick Lamar.
When the LA-based rapper started performing Man at the Garden on his latest album, GNX, members of the dance crew, TurfFeinz, popped up behind the star.
They were sitting on a raised platform by the lamp post, dressed in blue jeans and white shirts.
The backstory:
The internationally recognized East Bay dance crew formed in 2005.
They were also featured in the music video for Lamar's track titled, Squabble Up.
Oakland rapper Too Short reposted it on his Instagram story.
