MADISON, Wisconsin (KTVU and wires) -- One person was injured in a shooting at a Wisconsin mall, that involved two groups of teens Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

Police said there was an argument between the two groups, and then someone pulled out a gun and opened fire inside the mall, which was full of holiday shoppers.

A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound, which is not considered life-threatening.

A ricocheted bullet also clipped the pant leg of a security guard, but the guard was not hurt.

The dispute involved at least 10 people, said Madison Police. Several people were detained, but officers had not yet made any arrests as of Saturday night.

The mall was closed for 3 hours, as police investigated the shooting, which created panic among shoppers.

Investigators said the shooting was a result of a teen dispute, and not terrorism-related.
