Pedestrian killed on Highway 4 in Brentwood

BRENTWOOD, Calif. - A person was killed on Thursday by a driver on Highway 4 in Brentwood, the California Highway Patrol said.

The person was struck at the Lone Tree Way onramp, the CHP said.

The driver, who was on his way to work, cooperated with the investigation and there was no immediate indication he was going to be charged with a crime.
