Pedestrian killed in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. - A person died after being hit by a driver in San Jose's 11th fatal pedestrian accident this year, police said.

The collision was reported on Sunday on South King Road near Aldrich Way at 10:13 p.m., according to the San Jose Police Department.

Police said the person was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead.
