Person fatally shot in broad daylight, SF police investigating

The San Francisco Police Department is investigating a homicide after a person was fatally shot in the city's Bayview neighborhood Monday afternoon. 

Police said the shooting occurred on Selby and Toland Streets around 3 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they saw a person suffering from gunshot wounds. 

The victim was taken to a local hospital where they later died. 

No one has been arrested for the homicide and officials did not publicly name a person of interest. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact SFPD at (415) 575-4444.
