Person killed in collision south of Gilroy
One person was killed in a car crash south of Gilroy Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to a report of a collision in the area of Bloomfield Avenue and Bolsa Road east of U.S. Highway 101 around 8:15 a.m., a CHP officer said.
The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office has been called to the scene, according to the CHP.
