Person struck, killed by train in South San Francisco

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KTVU) - A person was struck and killed Wednesday afternoon at the South San Francisco Caltrain station, according to train officials.
Caltrain says a person was trespassing on the tracks when they were fatally struck just before 5:00 p.m.
All trains are currently stopped in the area and emergency personnel are on-scene.
No injuries have been reported. Caltrain said this is the eighth fatality this year.
