Police activity forces closure of Redwood City shopping center

Police investigation underway at Sequoia Station in Redwood City

The shopping center has been closed off as police conduct an investigation.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Redwood City police have closed the Sequoia Station shopping center on El Camino Real as they conduct a police investigation.

It's not yet clear what unfolded, but officers appear to be focused on an entrance to a Safeway grocery store.
