Police search for woman who stole Escondido bride's wallet

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (AP) — The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help identifying a woman who stole a bride's wallet during her wedding.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1Glp8Tl ) that the suspect was caught on surveillance video using Michelle Wilcox Tietz's wallet. Tietz noticed her wallet was gone the morning after her wedding.

Tietz says it's possible the door to the bridal dressing room was left open when she headed out to walk down the aisle. When she returned an hour later, it was ajar, but she did not notice anything missing.
