Rain falling in parts of Bay Area Thursday

BAY AREA, Calif. (KTVU) -  Parts of the Bay Area are getting a little rain Thursday.

According to KTVU meteorologist Steve Paulson, as of 6 a.m. rain was falling in parts of the North Bay including the areas of Bodega Bay, Rohnert Park, Lakeport and Cobb. The rain has since moved to the South Bay.

This comes after there were scattered rain showers across the Bay Area Wednesday.

Steve says there’s a chance of rain again Sunday into Monday with cooler temperatures.

If El Nino does arrive in California, Steve says it wouldn’t be until possibly late December or early January. He adds that El Nino doesn’t guarantee rain.
