San Jose man's death being investigated as homicide

A man is dead San Jose police said Tuesday night. Responding officers reported to W. Alma Avenue and Mastic Street at 7:38 p.m. to a call of several people involved in a fight.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim suffering what they called visible injuries. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide suspects are taking over the investigation. There are no suspects or motive in the case. 

Police said the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office has identified the victim and notified next of kin.
