OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Security at Sunday's Oakland Raiders' game will be increased, following Friday's terror attacks in Paris.

The NFL announced Saturday, that it is increasing security this weekend in and around the stadiums that are hosting games, one of which is the Raiders facing the Minnesota Vikings at 1:05 p.m. at O.co Coliseum.

NFL Spokesman Brian McCarthy said fans may notice more security guards and law enforcement personnel at the venues, and in parking lots. McCarthy added there could be other security measures that are not easily visible.

The League has been receiving updates from the Department of Homeland Security, which said there are no known threats against NFL stadiums.

But NFL officials said as an abundance of caution to protect its fans and players, the League has contact this weekend's home teams to reinforce its standard procedures, which include the use of metal detectors and a requirement that all bags brought into stadiums be clear.

The NFL advised fans to avoid bringing bags of any type to games Sunday, to avoid long and extra thorough searches.

The Raiders have not commented about Sunday's security, but did re-tweet an NFL post that offered prayers to the people of Paris, during this time of tragedy.

"The safety of our fans, stadium personnel, and teams at all NFL games is our priority, and security at our games is robust," the NFL said in a statement. "Our procedures have been certified and designated by the Department of Homeland Security since 2008 as effective anti-terrorism technology. All NFL clubs use mandatory metal detector screening and multiple layers of perimeter security external to the stadium to safeguard fans and the stadium from explosive threats."

KTVU Fox 2 will carry live the Raiders game against the Minnesota Vikings, at 1 p.m. Sunday,
