SF fire rescues man, dog from steep cliff near Ft. Funston

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Fire Department rescued a man and a dog who were found approximately 100 feet down a steep cliff Saturday morning near Fort Funston, SFFD posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Neither the human nor dog were injured, SF fire said, and video of the incident posted to the Citizen app shows SF fire personnel rappelling down a steep sloping cliff to rescue the pair.
