SFSU warns students after attack of student

SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - Police at San Francisco State University are telling students to stay alert after a woman was violently attacked on campus.
She was robbed and beaten by three other women.
The assault happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday near a designated smoking area at Mary Ward Hall, which is a residence hall on campus in the 800 block of Font Blvd.
A woman and her friend were walking on the sidewalk in the area and three other women were nearby hanging out next to their cars.
The three women approached the two and there was some type of verbal altercation with yelling, according to police.
Then one of the three women took out a mini-baseball bat and started beating on the victim several times.
The suspects got away with the victim's belongings, leaving her with injuries to her face and several abrasions.
There are only vague descriptions of the suspects.
Police say one of the attackers is between 18 and 20 years old, with shoulder-length dark hair and lip studs in her lower lip.
She was wearing a Giants t-shirt, and high heels.
The second woman has curly, shoulder length hair, and was wearing large, bamboo earrings.
There is no description of the third suspect.
At this point, additional details have not been released.
