SAN FRANCISCO - One person was wounded in a shooting in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood late Monday afternoon, police said.

The San Francisco Police Department reported that the shooting occurred in the area of Mission and 9th streets, where officers were called just before 5 p.m.
Officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, and their condition is not yet known.
