Steph Curry visits boy battling leukemia

Seven-year-old Brody Stephens is fighting for his life.

Before he got sick, Brody loved to play basketball. He beat leukemia once as a baby and now he's battling once again.

Brody's hero Steph Curry recently stopped by to surprise the tiny fighter at Riley Children’s Health in Indiana.

According to Riley's Children's Health, "(Brody) was meeting his basketball hero - and able to forget for just a little bit the battle he fights every day."

According to the hospital, Curry visited with Brody for more than an hour. "He sat there and laughed and joked and played. Curry proved to Brody he really was that hero he had dreamed about meeting." The pair Facetimed with Curry's teammate Klay Thompson and Curry's daughter Riley.

At his game vs. the Pacers Monday night, Curry will be wearing a “Brody strong” bracelet.

Brody called the meeting "awesome."
