Sunday marks 17th annual 'No Pants' day on BART
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - If you are taking BART Sunday, you may see a little extra leg.
That's because it marks the 17th annual "No Pants" day on BART.
Hundreds of people will come aboard without any pants on. Instead, they will be in their undies, and possibly wearing colorful socks.
A New York comedy group came up with the idea in 2001 in an attempt at sparking a few smiles from onlookers.
They call it an "amusing experience.”
The no pants day is also observed from New York to other parts of the world, including, the Bay Area, Canada and England.
