Teens arrested after Sacramento high school brawl
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTVU) - Three Sacramento high school students were arrested after a Tuesday brawl that saw the principal get body-slammed to the ground by a teenager.
Another student recorded the fight on a cell phone. At one point, Florin High School Principal Don Ross can be seen trying to break up the fight. A student slams him to the ground.
Ross got back up and tried again. One of the students arrested is 15 years old. The other two are 13 years old.
The Florin basketball coach John Graham questioned the wisdom of fighting, particularly in school.
What are you trying to prove? You're not proving anything. Now you're getting kicked out. Fighting is not the solution, said Graham.
The principal and two other school officials had minor injuries.
Two of the students arrested were charged with battery on a school official and causing injuries.
And the third was arrested for making threats toward law enforcement
