Vegetation fire in Novato is contained
NOVATO, Calif. (KTVU) - A Novato vegetation fire in the area 7th Street, Romar Court and Carmel Court that called for evacuations was contained at 4:20 Sunday afternoon, according to Novato police.
Officials are asking that the public stay clear of the area so emergency personnel can access.
Evacuations were only issued for Carmel Ct. Police have not said whether or not the residents are being allowed back home.
