SAN JOSE (BCN) - San Jose police arrested a woman Monday morning after a nine-hour standoff.
At 5:52 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call of two people fighting in the 3300 block of Holly Drive, Officer Gina Tepoorten said.
Neighbors in the area told arriving officers that a woman was upset over a parking situation and allegedly brandished a gun at neighbors, Tepoorten said.
A police SWAT team responded to the scene and several nearby homes were evacuated.
After several hours, the woman surrendered to police early Monday. She was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm, Tepoorten said.
Police have not released the suspect's name. She was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
