OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - The third 'Splash Brother'? It appears to be true. According to several outlets, with Yahoo Sports breaking the news, DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins is signing with the Golden State Warriors in a one-year $5.3 million deal.
The news broke Monday on the heels of another shocker when LeBron James was signed to the L.A. Lakers on Sunday leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers once again in a four-year $154 million contract.
On Twitter, Stephen Curry posted a video of himself practicing, shooting hoops with Cousins and a voice off camera can be heard asking, "Who are you, DeMarcus?" The former Pelican who was a free agent most recently responds, "The third Splash Brother."
Curry quips, "We're still taking applications," as Cousins sinks a three pointer on the court.
