The Bay Area weather headline, in the short term, revolves around the warm to hot forecast over the next 3 days. Patchy fog resurfaces near the coast and bay Monday morning. Mostly sunny skies and toasty temperatures return to parts of the Bay Area. Highs should range from the low 70s to the upper 90s. Tuesday should be the hottest day. We are tracking thunderstorm chances for later in the week (Thu & Fri). Fire danger could be going up.

Warmer today, hot tomorrow

Warmer weather is on tap for Sunday. With mostly sunny skies over head, afternoon highs will range from upper 60s at the coast to upper 80s inland. The heat is on for the first part of the week with our hottest cities inland soaring into the upper 90s.

Rising Cancer Rates in Younger Adults

Doctors warn cancer cases are climbing among people in their 40s and 50s ? far more than a generation ago. A new study points to sharp increases in 14 different types. Joining us with more perspective is Dr. Steve Lee, Oncologist at Kaiser Permanente East Bay.
