More clouds on the way

The morning commute could be challenging as the rain move south across the Bay Area. The highest totals, up to 2.50 inches, will be focused in the North Bay. Winds will also be factor. Gusts could approach 50 mph for parts of the Bay Area.

San Francisco supervisor to hold rally for cat killed by Waymo

A San Francisco supervisor, who represents the Mission District, is holding a rally for the beloved bodega cat killed by a Waymo last week. She's also introducing a resolution that has to do with public input on autonomous vehicles.

Trump administration finds partial funding for SNAP

The Trump administration is adhering to federal judges' rulings to fund SNAP. Democrats think the program should be fully funded as they continue to duke out the budget with Republicans in the second longest government shutdown on record.

2 dead after Redwood City liquor store fire

Two people were found dead on Monday morning following a fire in a Redwood City liquor store. Firefighters responded about 5:30 a.m. to Avenue Liquors on Roosevelt Avenue, where they found the building engulfed in flames. Crews found the bodies when they were opening up the roof, authorities said.

Fate of SNAP benefits

The Trump administration says it will restart SNAP food benefits but it will pay out only half the amount people normally get. David Super, Professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, expands on developments.
