U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy sent a letter Wednesday to the California High-Speed Rail Authority, accusing California of failing to meet the terms two federal grants to complete the high-speed rail project. The CHSRA fired back in a statement saying the Secretary's accusations are "misguided" and the CHSRA plans to respond by the deadline to "correct the record."
