Wednesday should be one of the cooler days this week. Highs should range from the mid 60s to the upper 80s. We are expecting another warming trend by the holiday weekend.

A healthy marine layer around 2000ft has filled in across our coastal areas and inland valleys during the overnight. Expect the gray skies to retreat to the coastline by late morning/early afternoon for most locations with seasonal temperatures under mostly sunny skies area wide. The mid-level moisture and associated conditional instability remains over the region today, but similar to Monday, not expecting any thunderstorms to develop. May feel a bit humid Inland, but that's about it. A near "perfect summer day as far as historical stats are concerned with highs banking from 64 in Half Moon Bay to 90 at the Delta. The weather in the Bay Area will stay warm, though morning breezes will give way to more forceful gusts as the day goes on.

Low clouds will bulk up in coverage Tuesday morning. We are expecting slightly cooler temperatures. Highs should range from the mid 60s to the upper 80s;

Today will see high clouds and seasonal temps, ranging from the 60s to 90 in Livermore.

The intense heat is out of here. Fog will resurface near the coast and bay Monday morning. Highs should range from the mid 60s to the low 80s. This pattern, for the most part, remains in place for most of the week.

Morning clouds, patchy fog and drizzle will clear to the coast with mostly sunny skies away from the shore for the afternoon. Seasonal highs are expected with mid 60s at the coast to upper 80s inland. Air Quality Advisory remains for Napa, Sonoma, Solano counties due to the Pickett Fire.

The sky is very chaotic across California this evening with marine layer clouds banked up against the coast influenced by NW winds and ample high clouds blow-off moving in from the SE from monsoonal moisture. There is also a line of mid level clouds popping up from Napa to Half Moon Bay. The biggest impact tonight will be from encroaching marine layer stratus, which will eventually impact most neighborhoods by Sunday morning. Expect very little Coastal Clearing on Sunday with sunshine along the Bay and Inaldn areas. NW winds 10 to 20 mph with an Air Quality Advisory for the North Bay (Solano, Napa and Sonoma) due to the growing Pickett Fire. Temperatures are GRADUALLY cooling from 64 in Pacifica to 92 in Antioch.

Subtle changes in the weather today. Low clouds will hover close to the shore, while monsoonal moisture provides subtropical clouds for most of us. Air quality remains a concern in Napa, Sonoma, and Solano Counties with a Air Quality Advisory due to the Pickett Fire. Afternoon highs will dip slightly, but still hot inland. A Heat Advisory remains for one more day.

Two Weather Advisories Remain In effect for the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend. First, The Heat Advisory which includes every Inland area until Saturday night at 9 PM. Secondly, an Air Quality Advisory For Solano, Sonoma and Napa Counties due to smoke from the Pickett Fire which continues burn near Calistoga. Unseasonably warm to hot temperatures will continue Inland while the return of the marine layer cools the Coast and Bay. Expect high clouds, (blow off from monsoonal moisture) to push through the Bay Area with a very slight chance of dry lightning in the Inland Areas. Seasonal temperatures will return by Wednesday.
