Judge blocks Trump from cutting funding to sanctuary cities

A judge ruled late Friday the Trump administration cannot deny funding to Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and 30 other cities and counties because of policies that limit cooperation with federal immigration efforts.

The Weather Advisories You Need To Know About For The Weekend!

Two Weather Advisories Remain In effect for the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend. First, The Heat Advisory which includes every Inland area until Saturday night at 9 PM. Secondly, an Air Quality Advisory For Solano, Sonoma and Napa Counties due to smoke from the Pickett Fire which continues burn near Calistoga. Unseasonably warm to hot temperatures will continue Inland while the return of the marine layer cools the Coast and Bay. Expect high clouds, (blow off from monsoonal moisture) to push through the Bay Area with a very slight chance of dry lightning in the Inland Areas. Seasonal temperatures will return by Wednesday.

2nd SJ motel site opens for unhoused residents

San Jose's mayor and other leaders, on Friday, toured a hotel in the Cambrian section of the city that's been converted to housing for unhoused residents. This, as one mother whose been homeless for six-years finally has a safe place to sleep for herself and her 11-month-old daughter.
