Our weather focus will then shift to the heat.  We are expecting a big temperature bounce Wednesday.  Thursday should be the hottest day of the week.  Some inland areas could approach 102 degrees. Dry winds will also be increasing from the north.  Fire danger, as a result, will  be increasing by midweek.
