Napa quake still on the minds of local residents one year later

NAPA, Calif. (KTVU and wires) -- The 6.0 magnitude quake that woke the placid wine town of Napa at 3:20 a.m. on Aug. 24, 2014 was the strongest quake to hit the San Francisco Bay area in a quarter-century.

Earthquake rocks Hayward Fault;  Jolts East Bay residents awake

OAKLAND, Calif.  (KTVU) -- A earthquake of a 4.0 magnitude struck near the Caldecott Tunnel in the Oakland hills on the Hayward Fault early Monday, jolting residents awake from Martinez to San Francisco and shaking items from shelves.
